Escendant - Chat
Explore other users Engram's with a chat
As your archive of Engrams accumulate you can permit other users to interact with your archive via chat. Chat connects your material and highlights any Engrams that source a chat response. If the an answer is not available the Escendant's chat agent will let the user know - answers are never hallucinated.
Your Engrams are not static saved files, they exists as an interactive chat that you can return to at any time. The Curator is aware of who you are and the context of the chat, meaning you can resume a thread at any point letting you carry on questioning and developing your Engram.
- Permission scoped – Only accessible Engrams and sources
- Traceable – Citations, source opening and labelled inference
- Third person – Chat agents never pretend to be the archive subject
- Productive gaps – Useful unknowns can prompt new curator work
Escendant - Build a life story
How Escendant works
With the help of Escendants chat assistant - The Curator, building memories becomes a rewarding experience that can be shared with others.
Start with a prompt
Begin by answering a question, adding an image, engaging video, or a relevant document. Alternatively just share the thought you wish to preserve for future reference.
The AI Curator asks questions
Our AI doesn't write your story — it asks the questions that draw it out. "Who else was there?" "What did you feel?" "What happened next?"
Tell your story in your words
Type or speak. Short or long. The story is always yours. The AI helps you structure it, never replaces your voice.
Enrich with voice, documents, context
Add voice recordings, scanned letters, recipes, certificates. Attach the artefacts that bring a story to life.
Bring the past to life
Visualise your memories by asking The Curator to render (almost) anything you can describe: “Draw 20 something me, lost in the streets of Paris” or “Render a polaroid image of an old orange VW Beetle parked in a field”.
Choose who sees it
Every engram has its own privacy level. Some stories are just for you. Some are for family. Some might be important enough to donate to The Human Archive.
